Routes

Both routes start beside The BandStand on Durham Riverside, are fully signed and supported, with friendly marshals and feed stations along the way – so all you need to do is focus on the experience.

The 55km route travels along the River Wear and through the City Streets until 3.5 miles where it joins the Old Railway line to Langley Park, Lanchester and then up to Consett. It is there the route heads East on the C2C route across to Stanley and Chester le Street. Runners will finish back along the River Wear and into the City once again.

25km runners head out of the City before going South along the Railway Line to Langley Moor and Meadowfield. The miles will fly by as you take in Croxdale Wood & Butterby Wood before the final 5km stretch along the River Wear and back into Durham.
