Beyond London by WILD DEER EVENTS offers you a choice of a 55km ULTRA MARATHON or 25km TRAIL RUN. With an accessible start and finish, an affordable entry fee and Beyond Trails support throughout your training, this makes Beyond Trails the most inclusive and welcoming trail running event on the block.

You’re welcome to run, jog or walk - but however fast you go or how long you take, get ready for hidden trails, unexpected views, well-known landmarks and more. Experience London like never before - go Beyond London.

Beyond London 55km Ultra route takes you off the beaten track onto the city’s Capital Ring footpath. Here on Greater London’s inner circle you’ll come across some of London’s most iconic sights, from medieval wonderland Eltham Palace to the ancient woodland and rolling hills of Richmond Park. Alongside these well-known and much-loved sights, you’ll be surprised by the everyday beauty of the trails, footpaths, parks, disused railway lines, woodland and more - and the almost total absence of main roads and highways. Fully-signed and well-supported, you’ll feel like you’re in safe hands.

The Beyond London 25km Trail route is a fully-signed, well-supported route following part of London’s Capital Ring footpath, which forms Greater London’s ‘inner circle’. On the way, take in some of London’s best-known and best-loved sights: Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park included. You’ll also experience the everyday beauty of the city’s skyline from a different - and unforgettable - angle. CUT OFF TIME is 6:00pm. At this time we will officially start the pack down process at the finish. We will have sweeps on the course that will be taking down signage behind the last runner. 

 

Start Times

55km Start- Registration will be open from 6am. The official start will be from 7-7:30am. A staggered start, setting the runners off in small groups. 

25km Start- Registration will be open from 9am. The official start will be from 10-10:30am. A staggered start, setting the runners off in small groups. 

 

Bag Drop

There is a Bag Drop available at both start locations. Collection will be the finish- Richmnd Rugby Club.

There are 3 Feed Stations on the 55km route, and 1 on the 25km route. All have toilets and first aid available.

Getting there:

Beyond London 55km will start in Woolwich, Beyond London 25km will start at Upper Norwood. All locations are well-connected with good rail, bus and Tube links. We would reccommend not driving to the start and finish locations as we cannot guarantee any parking available.
