Get ready for a spectacular summer trail running adventure through the beautiful Derwent Valley.
The Derwent Valley 10km is a scenic trail run taking you through stunning woodland trails and picturesque landscapes, with a varied route that showcases the beauty of the Derwent Valley.
Whether you're new to trail running or looking for a scenic summer challenge, this 10km trail run is the perfect opportunity to get out, explore and run WILD.

Dogs are welcome at the Derwent Valley 10km, making this a canicross-friendly trail running event.
One well-controlled dog per runner is permitted.
Dogs must remain on a lead at all times.
Please ensure your dog is comfortable running 10km and around other runners.
The Derwent Valley is home to some of County Durham's/Gateshead's most beautiful countryside, with a mixture of woodland, open landscapes, trails and riverside scenery.
The Derwent Valley 10km gives you the chance to explore this stunning area on foot, with a route designed to showcase the natural beauty of the valley.
All runners will benefit from live chip timing, provided by Timing Up North, giving you accurate race times and results.
Every finisher will receive:
Bespoke event medal

Post-race snack and drink
