Great organisation, superb atmosphere.

Need to improve on speakers, unable to hear at back. Totally missed the one minute silence

In the event area the speakers were too far away from the start line so when the runners were ready to start you couldn't hear the compere. This resulted in the back runners not hearing the start and finish of the minutes silence which I think is a very poignant part of the event considering its location.
Apart from that fab event with great Marshalls.

I'd say the only downside was there is a lot of the course which is very narrow. If your trying for a pb, maybe not this course (unless you start at the front).

Having the numbers collection in number is way better and the alphabet. All the volunteers are fabulous. One thing I would recommend is handing the t-shirts out when runners pick up their numbers.

Thanks to Chloe who was very helpful in answering my queries before the event. My only query would be why are the positions in gun time for the results, I would have thought chip time would be more fair and appropriate, especially when there are prizes for top 3 in age categories.

Disappointed with a wooden medal, the metal one was amazing. Everyone should be getting a metal medal, don't spend so much on metal medal that you can't afford the over heads and then have to give others who have paid the same price a wooden medal. I'm sure every one would appreciate a good averaged price metal medal

Really enjoyed the route along the front even with the hilly bits! Great atmosphere from everyone involved. The route was easy to follow and Marshalls along the way. Love the metal medal and T-shirt. Would definitely do again and recommend

I have never visited Seaham or seen Tommy. The event has always been full so I was thrilled to get a place. The weather wasn’t great so the viability wasn’t poor for the sea view or harbour. Some of the tracks were congested and narrow so no possibility of passing, this isn’t a complaint just an observation. The marshals were cheerful and encouraging which was very welcome. The finish area was friendly, buzzing and well organised. Thank you for having XS t-shirts! I now have one I can wear without being swamped. Well done Wild Deer !

Would it be possible to have people start in estimated finish time zones?

First time going this race. Was very well organised and good value for money. Lovely medal and the T-shirt is great. Nice quality and fits well unlike some you get after races. Al Pepper did a great job comparing the event

Change the water in a cup please to bottles or cartons can’t drink out of a cup without stopping or spilling

Can’t wait for next year
