Wow, what a great day. I’ve run a lot of Wild Deer events but this was my first hike. Firstly, the flexibility in allowing me to change waves to join my 3 friends was really appreciated. A great route, excellent signage, marshals were ace and the lady at the 8 mile feeding station was a superstar. Nice treats, too. The finish was special, as were the goody bag items. A great value event. Thank you.

Received a T-shirt and medal which was great and also had refreshments and sandwiches along the way - was a pleasant surprise and am very thankful for that as part of my ticket

Easy to catch bus to the start. Great coffee at start, mile 8 feed station and end. Amazing mile 8 feed station, what a lovely surprise that was. Great medal and goodies.

I’m a tour guide on Hadrian’s Wall, so walk it year round, but it was just so lovely to participate in a walk, to be looked after throughout by organisers and marshals and just get to relax, walk and enjoy the scenery. I’d do it again!

Much better event this year - to split the runners/walkers to separate days. I’m sure the runners will agree also!
