THE DALBY DEVIL 50KM & 30KM TRAIL ULTRA 2027

We’re back in Dalby Forest on Saturday 8th May 2027 for a brand new ultra! The Devil is a challenging 50km Ultra or 30km of stunning forest trails in one of the North York Moors most beautiful locations!

Set within the North York Moors National Park, Dalby Forest offers 8,500 acres of trails, forest paths and stunning views. Whether you're taking on your first ultra or looking for your next trail challenge, The Dalby Devil is the perfect opportunity to get WILD!

Event Distances

30km Trail Ultra – A fantastic challenge for those looking to step up their trail distance 

50km Trail Ultra – The ultimate Dalby Devil challenge! Take on 50km of beautiful forest trails and put your endurance to the test.

Fully marked routes, friendly marshals and a welcoming atmosphere make this a WILD day on the trails!

Feed Stations

Feed stations will be positioned along the route to keep you fuelled throughout your run.

Expect a selection of sweet and savoury snacks, hydration and nutrition to help you tackle the distance.

Further details will be announced closer to the event.

Mandatory Kit List

For safety, all 30km and 50km runners will be required to carry mandatory kit, including:

• Running backpack with fluids

• Charged mobile phone with ICE contacts saved

• Food and energy gels

• Lightweight waterproof jacket

The full mandatory kit list will be confirmed ahead of the event.

Start time – 9am

Cut-Off Times

The 30km and 50km Ultras must be completed by 6pm.

This is a running event and is not suitable for participants intending to walk the full route.

The Finish Line

All finishers will receive:

• A bespoke event medal

• Wild Deer merchandise

• Snacks and drinks at the finish

Camping

Make a weekend of it! Camping is available on Friday 7th May at Adderstone Field:

• £10 per vehicle/tent (payable when you sign up)

• Hard standing for vans and grassed areas for tents

• Coffee van and food van on site

Parking

Subsidised parking at Dalby Forest, payable after the event at Forestry England machines.
