Didn’t like the impatient drivers but short of closed roads there’s nothing you can do about that! Also some of the roads were diabolical condition but again that’s out of your control

Well organised, kayakers were really helpful making the swim more enjoyable. Fabulous location. Nice to have an event in a North East location. Already entered Derwent sim next year.

The atmosphere was amazing, the scenery was so pretty. I loved being so close to the sea. The terrain was forgiving for a beginner. The marshalls made it, they were amazing and so supportive and helpful! Loved it.

It’s my first time competing at the Geordieman this year. But I have spectated for a couple of years. The event gets bigger every year, you are doing an amazing job!
I was really impressed by the communication pre event. Organisation on registration and race day, the event goodies (medal was amazing, great hoody!)
The course is fantastic. Keep doing what you are doing Wild deer, you will capitalise on the people that the Ironman branded events take for granted.
