Great event !
Special thanks to the mechanic in the van at the start line who sorted out my mechanical issue allowing me to complete the ride!

Excellent ride, awful weather
Weather was appaling but cant do anything about that. Route was good, plenty of variety from flats to hills and very well sign posted. My only comment would be that the organisers, if they are going to have a results page, need a way to confirm which route riders completed. Timing gates & chips, tokens at the 60km feed station, a marshall at the split point with coloured numbers representing route length etc etc

Friendly and well signed event
First 100km.
Cant control the weather and hot drinks at second feed station were VERY welcome! Big main road was not good with mad drivers but smaller roads really nice to cycle on. Thankyou.

Can't choose the weather...
Well run event, easy to follow directions, friendly feed point crew, easy signing on...all in all two thumbs up.

Enjoyable sportive
Great event, well done Wild Deer
Well that was a shock after getting sunburn two days earlier :)
Very well done to the organisers. Great route and nice to get the hills done first. Well signed. Very pleasant staff at the start/end and feed stations - thanks all.
Some suggestions from our team...
>Great to have loos at the feed stations but could have done with more (cold day to queue).
>Be nice to have hot drinks at both feed stations (realise that would mean another provider needed).
Traffic related suggestions......
>Getting on/off the A58 in Collingham was difficult (busy road, unforgiving drivers).
>Rather than going through Wetherby (busy), turn right up the A168 access road from the small roundabout.
>The Thorp Arch feed station was too close to the road. Maybe move it up the green a bit so people take the left turn into the Park before dismounting. Or place it on the lower green.
>Maybe loop through Wistow/Scalm Lane to Biggin rather than the bigger road (nicer, less traffic).
>Rather than going through Tadcaster on the return, go up Stutton Hill and past the Grammar School.
(those last two taken together would probably balance the total distance)

Great event, super route with great scenery, only let down by the weather
Second year for me, entered the 100k but switched at the split point, cold and wet at that point. Disappointing for me but that's OK, hopefully there will be another next year.

Really good event
Overall very good. The only way you could improve this event is to have more toilets at the feed station. The single toilet wasn’t enough. Got very cold queuing.
Hot drinks at the feed station would have been a massive bonus as it was so cold and wet.

Excellent organisation
So impressed with the signage, every junction reliably signposted, I didn’t need the route map at all. Booking in was slow so we didn’t get away at our target time, but there was a lot of rafting in our group which added to the delay. I emailed the organisation at 11pm the night before the event regarding a missing email and received a reassuring email back within minutes that they would sort it out at check in the next morning, and they did just that. Nice people, very well organised event. Super route, very scenic and quiet roads for the most part.
