Excellent
Really well organised. I've done a couple of your runs. So I thought I'd give it a go. Was not disappointed. Couldn't fault. But the only thing that could be a bit better, are the signs. Other than that the GPX files were spot on. Look forward to the next one.

If beginners have a good level of fitness then the 100k would be ok , for those who have the fitness this was a very challenging route at times .
Well done to all the staff , especially who sorted and chosen the 100k route, you made it tuff and challenging.
well run event as always
The event was well run as always with plenty of up front information and regular updates if needed.
Although this route was a “plan B” after the original venue wasn’t viable its planning was very well done. Signage was clear and correct throughout the course and the sent out Gpx route matched.
I only have one niggle and that is that the route is labled “beginner friendly”!
The XC section at the beginning and hills in the first half were really harsh and really offputting. The effort used at the beginning made it hard to enjoy the flatter/rolling second half.
If there is a possibility of an “easy” flatter ride and an “intermediate” hilly ride being combined into the 50km route this would be amazing with the flatter option being perfect for older, injured, beginner riders as an intro to wider wild deer events.
All in all a massive thank you to the organisers. See you at the next one.

Staff are just lovely people
Unlucky to line up with the storm, meant the paths in places were rather tricky but 100% id do it again but with a long sleeve shirt as a reward
Brian Gillies
Challenging but rewarding ride in unspoiled countryside.
Well organised and run. Thank you team Wild Deer.
Charlotte Hearn
Really enjoyable ride. Great views
Went wrong a couple of times. GPS lag & small arrows! Some bigger arrows or hanging coloured ribbons could help.
Joe Newman
Excellent event

This route had the lot the full package in terms of terrain. Took me the my skill level limit! Well put together and thought out..
