Beautiful location for this event with excellent organization and good value for money. Friendly atmosphere making it accessible for all ages/ abilities.

In terms of how to improve this event slightly, as I think someone has already mentioned, the swim course could do with some more prominent/ brighter buoys - dark red isn’t a great colour for sighting especially if they don’t sit high in the water. More of the yellow tall buoys at each point would be a helpful addition. Excellent swim course though in a great location.

Bike course is great, a good mix of beautiful scenery with opportunities to climb and get speed up to make up some time - no faults there.

Run course is quite tight and congested especially but again, a good mix of up and down hills to challenge/ gain time. Only criticism would be that (according to my watch), it fell just short of the 10K mark by about 300/400m so if there was any way that it could be slightly extended to make up this distance then that would be great (not everyone may agree with me on this one however).

Overall, a great event and one I will definitely return for on a regular basis.

This was my 11th time doing the event and each year is consistently good. The organising team are very helpful and friendly, the venue is very picturesque and the course is a challenge, but doable. I will see you all next year :-)

Marshals were amazing and organisation was brilliant. My only negative bit was the race brief was done a bit swiftly. A lot of the first timers and even experienced heads were left a bit unsure. Apart from that brilliant event guys, thanks

My third year and never disappoints. Great organisation and volunteers, and friendly event.

My only gripe is the T shirts, can you go back the the classy cotton ones with the wild dear logo, Windermere and the year. This year's is so loud, I like to wear them casually and wear them with pride not shout from the rooftop and slap people in the face.

Very well organised with a great course. 06:30 start is a killer meaning a 3am alarm but given it's location it's needed I guess before the tourists arrive.

Volunteers were all a credit to the event team - friendly, helpful and full of encouragement!

Just a shame that this like other events you are now having to purchase a British triathlon race pass As well as the entry fee- couldn’t you still just do the event on an informal basis without your results counting to the final official results?- just make it a little more expensive

As this was my first ever event and therefore first Triathlon. I completed it with 2 friends and found the whole day a fantastic experience. Volunteers, Staff and Marshalls made it memorable and I would highly recommend to anyone who is considering signing up.
Views were out of this world.

Excellent event, I’ve took part in several wild deer events and I cannot fault them. Friendly and inclusive. Not intimidating for someone who’s not as “fast” or “quick” as others. Very well organised and quick to sort out some issues I had with booking, can’t recommend them enough! Thank you for an amazing weekend!

Rules of drafting need to be mentioned. There was lots on the route. Should have someone out on the course checking like most races do. Extreme amount of littering.

I think the swim would benefit from a few more buoys
