Wild Deer Events head to the West Midlands this December for our Wyre Forest Festive Trail Runs — a brilliant winter celebration set within one of the largest, most beautiful ancient woodlands in the region.

About Wyre Forest

Wyre Forest is one of the largest, most ecologically significant oak woodlands in England. The surrounding woodlands and local nature reserves are fantastic places with something for everyone all year round. Being able to get  and about in the fresh air and having fun outdoors is good for your mental health and wellbeing.

Family 1 Mile Run

• Open to children aged 3–14

• Accompanying adult runs free

• Not cani‑cross friendly

5km Trail Run

• Suitable for ages 11+

• Canicross friendly

10km Trail Run

• Suitable for ages 15+

• Canicross friendly

• One well‑controlled dog per runner allowed in the 5km and 10km events

Start Times

• Family 1 Mile – 10:30am

• Canicross Starts – 11:00am

• 10km Trail Run – 11:00am

• 5km Trail Run – 11:15am
