Maybe if you let those running with dogs set off second. It felt that I had to overtake lots of people running with dogs. Which at some points was a little tricky. Even though I am a dog lover!

Having the parking so close to the start/finish was great. Another vendor would be good with the café being closed to avoid queues.
Very annoying that people continued talking through the briefing but alas this is often the case.

Harewood House - trail half marathon was a really fun undulating course around the beautiful estate of Harewood House.
Great comms from the event team, quick and easy registration process on the morning.

Three water stations on route with happy, bubbly marshals all the way around the well sign posted course.

Really enjoyable event, today, in this cold, crisp yet sunny morning.

This was my first ever 5k run and what a place to start. An amazing event and everyone was so helpful and encouraging- a special thanks to the Marshalls for keeping me going! We had so much fun we’ve entered the 5K at Grasmere! Huge thanks to the whole Wild Deer team.

I love Wild Deer Events, the atmosphere is always amazing and the Marshalls are superb.
It was freezing out there today and even right up to the final finisher all the Marshalls had a smile and word of encouragement.

Perfect event helped by the weather which was freezing but sunny initially nervous about ice patches but there were Marshall’s pointing out any hazards and it was beautiful just the right amount of water points
