Great intro to trail running
Lovely run except for the dog race which must have started not far behind us - far too many of them weaving in and out of the runners with their dogs on long leads. Some were very inconsiderate as they tried to pass quickly, I understand they want to do well but we were racing too! As it got further down the field they had better manners, but I was obstructed more than once and almost tripped once when a dog that had already run past me decided not to go down a hill and ran sideways instead. Owner one side, dog the other, long lead across the path on the downhill…It’s not good to have the dog racers at the same time.

Fantastic Atmosphere
We were running the 5k and we were waiting behind the start line with the rest of the 5k group but could not hear any of the briefing or even the race starting, everything else was amazing!

I somehow missed the 5k turn and ended up finishing the 10k. The route was beautiful, pleased to have seen it but the legs are feeling it now.

Very good and enjoyable
I love this run, but today it took some getting going with all the slow runners at the start held up for to long and ended hp stopping at the bridge …. Very frustrating when your trying to beat a previous time
And you can’t get going I feel like you should try and stagger it and slow runners should go last or you should have to put your timings down of what it should ruffly
