Brilliant organisation, stunning scenery, great atmosphere, well marshalled and easy to navigate, good choice at feed stations and nice to get a t-shirt and medal at the end. Couldn’t ask for more at this price point, excellent value and a rememberable event

This was our first ever running event and it was a fab experience (tough at times but brilliant) The whole event was well organised and it was lovely to see locals out supporting us along the way. We will definitely be signing up to more events in the future. Thanks for a great day!!

Great event, organised well but more toilets at the start is a must, 7 toilets wasnt enough.
Feed stations were good but a lot of things i couldnt stomach so carried my own food and snacks. Route was good, Amble wasnt great as found it very busy and people wouldnt move when you politely asked them to and could see runners, slowed down a lot of people. Lovely medal, tshirt sizes were spot on and snacks were great. Overall fab event

First ultra in the bag - amazing course/scenery and we couldn't have been luckier with the weather.

Incredibly well run event (as all Wild Deer events are). Smooth transitions on the coaches from finish to start, registration was efficient and quick, and the staggered start was flowing. All marshalls were very encouraging and gave me a boost each time. Lots of photoagrahers out on the course to capture some epic backdrops. Feed stations were very well stocked and evenly spaced out.

Thank you for making my first ultra unforgettable.

I couldn't fault any aspect of this event. Email communication beforehand was spot on, organisation in the day was good, marshals were where they were needed, signage on the route was clear. All volunteers and staff were friendly and helpful, and the route is stunning. Made for a lovely atmosphere, very welcoming to us slow runners too

Would have preferred a technical top (and think original order said long sleeve)

Fifth ultra & has to be the best . From communication, to the start line organisation, from someone who struggles in mass crowds doing a staggered start with no huge countdown it worked for me! The Marshall’s were awesome, route insane ! More tarmac than i anticipated? Great value love the medal and t shirt and a cheeky cider what’s not to love ? Highly recommend

I loved the whole day, ambling through to Amble!
Everyone was kind and encouraging especially when we were beginning to tire!! Well done to everyone
