Just a thought to have a steward at the toilet block, and when it is getting say 10mins or so before the start to ask people in the queue who aren’t running to let runners to go before them, they can use the toilet when the race has started. Just kindness to the anxiety of the runners??

Emails could have included details about the event being combined with the Duathlon - caused concern turning up to the car park for a running event to see lots of people with bikes, but other than that a well organised & simple event.

Second Wild Deer event and it was just as good as the first! Great atmosphere, well organised and good fun! Only comment would be that I’d 100% be willing to pay more for a better quality finishers t-shirt and medal!

I would’ve liked to have seen more distance signage around the course. Queues were a little long for registration, toilets and refreshments afterwards.

Otherwise, a great course for a beginner. It seemed very well organised and the marshalls were all really friendly and helpful.

A bit confused about who started when... a sign with a list or a loud speaker would have helped as we couldn't hear the announcement. Lucky we went up and asked or we would have missed the start.

Could have done with more stewards on the cycle element of the other event, I heard and witnessed cyclists on the wrong track. However the 10km run I did was well sign posted and very enjoyable. Plenty of porta loos at the start, great coffee as always at wild deer events. Fab music and staff keeping the energy at the end. Really enjoyed my event.
