Great course and organisation
Great day out on another Wild Deer event. Well organised with a bus service to get you to the start. Course wasn't as bad as I thought it would be so great for novices once you get the first 2/3 miles out of the way.

Really well organised from parking, busing people, picking up numbers, plenty of toilets, route amazingly beautiful, friendly marshals on pit stops plenty of options for refills, colourful ending with a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

The usual great atmosphere, good organisation, and friendly and helpful marshals. The drinks stations were a definite improvement on the other two WD HM's I've done this year, as was the drink and tee-shirt at the end - far better than another buff or pair of socks. All-in-all an excellent event.

Really enjoyed my first half marathon
This isn’t the easiest terrain if you want a fast time but so beautiful and a really lovely half marathon. It’s not too hilly for a trail run either

Brilliant from the bus to the finish — a race to remember
A fabulous race from start to finish! Excellently organised, with a great route and fantastic volunteers throughout. Everything ran smoothly, from getting on the bus to the start line to receiving the T-shirt at the finish. Excellent communication via email in the run-up to the event, too. I’ll definitely be doing it again and would highly recommend it!
