I really enjoyed this event - I'd highly recommend it. Stunning route and views and very well organised. Marshals and volunteers were all so friendly and encouraging.

Yes, this event was brilliant. The scenery was stunning, the organisation was impeccable and the water stations and treat stations were plentiful. An exceptionally fantastic event!

Great event, organisation runs like clockwork so relaxed you can enjoy from the first step to the last. The views and the route are fab, a must do event year on year.

Overall l was very happy with the event, this was my first with Wild Deer but I will definitely do more in the future.
There was only one section very narrow which was very hard, if not impossible to take over people and even had to manage incoming walkers with dogs or strollers. Not sure if that could be changed for the future.
Also one possibility could be too have a wave, just for runners with dogs.
Other than that, I had a very positive experience. Thank you.

Fantastic event. Every marshal was friendly and encouraging along the course which was greatly appreciated, especially in the latter miles. It was also very well organised, hats off to all the staff / volunteers involved. My first Wild Deer event. Most certainly not my last!

I've probably taken part in over 100 races and I can't find fault with anything from this race - you managed it perfectly and I really enjoyed it.
Perhaps you could let runners know that road shoes aren't suitable (or safe)?

Thank you for Hadrian’s Wall half yesterday. Loved it ! Bit challenging for the first few miles and then just perfect running all the way to Hexham. Thanks for being supportive of back of the pack runners ( but we definitely needed jelly babies on the checkpoints!!) I liked the staggered start it meant there was no pressure on pace . Would love to do it again.

I had never seen Hadrian's Wall so thought this run would be fun, and it was! Really beautiful course, with the hard bit near the beginning, which I like! Very well organised and marshals were very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back again next year.

Very well organized, excellent value and thanks to all the volunteers. Nice run. Good views and Terrain was a good mix. Weather was kind and ground underfoot was decent.

This was a well organised event and the staggered start took away any crowding which would have made it difficult to run. The views made this event so enjoyable to do.
Three aid stations for water only, but I was expecting some kind of snack at these. I ran one of the last waves, so I am not sure if they just ran out before I arrived. This was a bit disappointing especially as I know people who walked the event the previous day and they told me they were well stocked with food. Wooden medal, drinks, protein bar and t-shirt at finish.
Would recommend to anyone who likes a no-pressure trail half, but bring your own snacks and definitely stop to take photos.
