Great route, well organised, good atmosphere. Not too technical.
You should resist any temptation to increase numbers. The staggered start worked fine, but felt at about the limit for numbers as there was occasional congestion. Some sections by the river are annoyingly narrow, although there is not much you can do about that.

Cannot fault the day. Organisation was great, as was the weather and the volunteers were superb and kept me going through.

Very hard but beautiful and ancient route.
My first time and it was well organised and had great Marshall’s and marshalling. Although all the climbing is in the first 5 miles it, and the long downhill, is sapping for the flat finish. At 70 I’ll think carefully about next year.
