This was my first half and first trail race I had a great day and left wanting more

Ran with my daughter. I’m in the 50 + bracket and it all went well. Can’t thank the organisers and emergency services & volunteers enough .without them it wouldn’t happen . Of course the kind gift at the end of end . Superb event many thanks .

Quite organised event and the communication from start was very smooth via email. I needed to adjust my kid's distance couple times due to her health but it was no problem at all. The day itself was great, nice weather and beautiful route, great merchandise after run. I noticed it wasn't good crowd though, it was less fewer people participated than I expected and no music, less stalls etc. It was one of quiet run that I ever attended but to be honest, it didn't bother us at all. Thank you for such good day.

Shame it wasn’t busier. Spot on organisation but prefer some more hills!

Today I returned to do the 10k (I did it last year too). The trail route is beautiful and everything was so well organised. I love the socks given out at the finish and will make this race an annual occurrence. Thanks to all involved.

Would prefer a metal medal.

The 5k is accessible for beginners or for those like myself who are old and getting slower. It has a friendly atmosphere and it was nice to have a pair of socks at the end.
